An exciting journey, exploring mono- chromatic colour schemes, starting with a single colour, extending it to produce a tantalizing range of tints, shades & tones using pen made and drawn letterforms. We will also experiment with refreshingly unique monoprints stirred in for extra good measure, introducing both pattern and texture. Armed with wealth of ideas, there will be choices of individual projects from using written or decorated drawn words to combining selected prints with text for the final sparkle. A fun filled tonal treat to keep spice in our calligraphic lives! |

Tissues add interest to the appearance of your work and can enhance the meaning of words. We’ll explore some of the tissue papers available, from the cobweb-fine to the substantial, discover what writing tools work best with which tissue paper, what sizes and adhesives to use, and begin work on a small personal project. A totally new writing experience for all kinds of work! |
